What Is Supervised Visitation?

Professional supervised visitation provides children and parents the opportunity to spend time together in a safe, structured environment when supervision has been ordered or agreed upon.

My role is to remain neutral, uphold court requirements, objectively observe the visit, and support a child-centered experience while allowing families as much natural interaction as possible within the boundaries of professional supervision.

More Than Supervision

Your family may be going through an incredibly difficult and complicated time. Supervised visitation often exists alongside high-conflict co-parenting, family court involvement, and sometimes much deeper challenges involving different forms of instability.

I understand that you're not simply showing up for a visit. You're navigating an entire system while trying to maintain a relationship with your child. That can feel overwhelming, frustrating, and incredibly personal.

My role is to provide a safe, neutral, and child-centered environment for your visits while treating you with dignity and respect throughout the process. When appropriate, I can also provide additional parenting support and education to help you prepare for visits, better understand your child's needs, handle challenges, and develop practical skills you can use outside of our time together.

I believe the work we do between visits is where meaningful change happens.

The visit is one piece of the process, but what you choose to learn, practice, and change outside of that time is what can ultimately change your circumstances and your relationship with your child.

Common locations include parks, libraries, museums, play spaces, restaurants, and other child-friendly community settings. Location options will be discussed during the intake process.
How long are visits?▼
Visit length depends on the court order, service agreement, and your family's needs. Standard in-person visits are scheduled with a 3-hour minimum, though shorter services such as consultations may be available.

What happens if I need to cancel or I'm running late?▼

What if my child is upset or doesn't want to participate?▼
Children respond to supervised visitation in many different ways, especially during times of transition or stress. Every child is unique. My role is to support the visit while remaining attentive to the child's needs and the requirements of the court order.
Is parenting support included with supervised visitation?▼
Parenting support, parent education, and co-parenting guidance are offered as optional services and are separate from supervised visitation.
What areas do you serve?▼
Services are available throughout Orange County, California. Visits outside the standard service area may be available for an additional travel fee.
What is your availability?▼
Standard visit days are Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Limited Sunday through Wednesday appointments may be available for an additional fee.

Transportation services may be available when approved and will incur an additional fee.
